A song that celebrates the unexpected. Pure Love is the result of a cosmic spark between DJ Koze and Damon Albarn. The encounter in the surreal salt ponds, was the initial spark from which this deep and unfathomably mystical treasure was born.

The shimmering of these two souls opens a window onto a nocturnal scene where the scents of oriental spices dance through the air and the stars twinkle above us. The sky has never been as beguiling as it is today.

The Pure Love EP now includes two additional versions of this unique song: the Night Version and the Day Version. These versions vividly showcase the magical transformation that this song has undergone to reach its final album form. Through a mysterious metamorphosis, the raw power of the Night Version and the lucid harmonies of the Day Version blend into an otherworldly song, completing its journey from darkness into light.
